Dr. Foster joined Family Eye Care Clinic in 1994. He continues to provide specialized Vision and Ocular Health Care at Family Eye Care Clinic while growing not just relationships, but friendships with his patients.
He completed his Undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University where he was a member of the Alpha Chi academic honor fraternity. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry where he was elected to membership in the Beta Sigma Kappa honor fraternity. Dr. Foster's formal education was completed by two internships in both corneal and retinal departments of the University of Texas Medical Center at Houston.
Dr. Foster is a member of regional, state, and national professional associations including the East Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Foster stays active in the community with many activities and social functions. He also serves as a member of the Deacon Counsel at Atlanta First Baptist Church, active membership in the Atlanta Area Rotary Club Board of Directors and has served as past Rotarian President.
Dr. Foster is also an active member of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and has former board service as well.
Dr. Foster has established his home in Atlanta, TX with his wife Melba and daughters Lauren and Natalie. He enjoys numerous family activities such as boating, fishing, snow skiing and martial arts.
